Dimitris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from the University of East London and a Master’s Degree in International Marine Policy from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
He started his shipping career as Chartering and Operations assistant from a very young age at Oceanstar Management Inc. He then commenced his S+P career in George Moundreas & Co. S.A. and after 3 years he joined Clarksons (Hellas) Ltd., where he remained for the next 6 years.
Thereafter he founded RS Platou Hellas Greek office in Piraeus, Greece and remained there running the company for 7 years until RS Platou was merged with Clarksons. Thereafter he founded Parallax Shipbrokers.
